Good morning! Nothing beats starting the day with something that reminds me of fresh fruits and veggies. As much as I love gooey doughy goods, my eyes widen at the idea of a market bag full of fresh produce. So this new 2011 market calendar from Heidi at Red Cruiser is calling my name. Each month features different seasonal fruits and vegetables and the calendar has a beautiful, weathered look. If you’re lucky enough to have a country/summer home, this calendar would fit right in there. The market calendar comes in two versions: one with twine and a hole punch and the other with full sheets (that can be cut down to 5″ x 7″ postcards) held together by a vintage bull clip. Both versions are available right here for $24 to $26.

Speaking of lovely artwork, Kate Harper just launched a wonderful (and free) Art Licensing Directory on her blog yesterday. She’s been working on it for eight months and it lists hundreds of companies who buy/license artwork, along with their submission guidelines. The companies are all recommended by artists who have worked with them, so if you’ve ever been interested in licensing your artwork, this resource is a must-see. Click here to check it out. Thanks, Kate! xo, grace
